I had perfect stay, the place is charming small and excellent value!
Greatly enjoyed my time here and would recomand this place. The hotel was a nice base for enjoying a cute area, just off Lake Balaton, and cemetery. The breakfast with fresh fruit, cheese, meats was rich, had so much to choose from. The rooms were great modern for children to draw at the restaurant, the staff were really helpful.

The pool had baskets for basketball which was an enjoyable way to pass time.
One word describes this place....weird!! For some this could be considered charming but for us it seemed like it could be on a list of Europes most haunted hotels. The pictures hide very well the fact that it is on the main road and next to a cemetary in the back part of the building. Our room was the very last room up stairs and down weird winding corridors. Even though there was an exit next to our room, that I guess was only there to get to the outdoor pools, we could not use it and had ot make the trip through all the hallways with freaky mirrors and old decor paintings and tapestries. When we got to our room it felt like we were staying at our great grandmothers house. As for cleanliness, in general it was. They had updated the bathroom, except for the shower head which looked like a remnant from the original structure. There was also a distinct urine odor which we hoped originated from the toilet brush, which also looked like it had been there from opening day. In the pool area, the water in the jacuzzi was brown as well. The morning we were checking out the cleaning ladies also opened the door at around 9:30 am without knocking while my husband was getting out of the shower. The walls were also paper thin. We were on a weeklong trip which we stayed in a different city everynight and this hotel charged the most (70 EUR) when the other hotels, b&bs, pansions, etc. which were 10 times better with much better facilities, etc,. were mostly 50 and a few 60 euros. We do not recommend.

Very nice and cozy hotel in which we are very pleased with his family to live. Service just fine. The atmosphere and climate make us come back again to the hotel. The attendants are very friendly and splochenyy. Thanks to the administration for what it does for its clients.

The hotel has an old world/country ambienceand is run by a family. A mixture of old and new furniture giving it a homely/cosy feel. Various areas are set aside for children's entertainment and over the three days of our stay we did not hear any fractious children because there was always something to keep them amused. In the last six weeks we have stayed in many hotels and the staff including waiting staff, at this hotel have been the most professional we have struck. They were friendly as well.
